Other than having read the textbook version, I have seen the movie First Knight. I don't remember too much about it but I do remember that all of the magic stuff and Merlin was not part of the movie.
The 2004 movie with Clive Owen and Keira Knightley is my fav. I know it's not a book and I have read other versions, but that is still my favorite, that or Disney's Sword in the Stone.
As you may have guessed, I am a fan of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail. It is very far removed from being any type of adaption, but it is the only thing I have seen that would come anywhere close to Le Morte D'Arthur.
This was my favorite adaptation as I have not read any other material about this subject.
