Which character in the Morte D'Arthur do you most admire and why? Are there any characters that you admire?

  1. I admire lancelot because he was a brave and fearsome knight and he obviously loved guineverre and she obviously loved him and he was willing to lose his life so that they could be together.

  2. I think of all of the characters in the story Lancelot was my favorite. He went through a lot in the story and through it all he stood fearless and loyal to the ones he loved. For example, he may have had an affair with his beloved Guineverre but in the end he fought for her love back and proved to her he was loyal and cared about her. I think he shows the true character of a respectful man and that is why I liked him the best.

  3. I think I admire King Arthur as he was a wise and kind king put in a bad situation where he had to pick between honor and friendship. He could not let the affair of Lancelot and Guinverre go as he would have lost all respect of his people, but he did make some poor choices in who he listened to and the situation may have been dealt with differently, but then it would not have been anything to write about.

  4. I enjoyed the character of Lancelot because his affair with Guineverre is applicable to a lot of relationships today. People always want what they can't have. Despite his mistakes, Lancelot does not give up on the woman he loves. He keeps trying to win back Guineverre until he succeeds.

  5. I'm going to have to go with King Arthur. Lancelot and Guineverre's relationship for me was too cheesy. King Arthur may not have been perfect, but he tried to do what was right. His flaws make him humnan and more relatable. In the end, he was able to do what was right and lead people in the right direction, some what.

  6. I liked King Arthur. Maybe it's just because he is the "main character" of the legend. King Arthur stood for what is good and a symbol of chivalry.
