What does the Old Hag say she wants in return for providing the answer to the knight's riddle?  What is the Queen and the court's reactions to the Knight's answer?

  1. The old hag wants the knight to marry her for giving him the answer to the Queen's question that will save his life. The Queen and her court react very favorably to the knight's answer that was supplied by the hag. They agree that being in control of their husband or lover is what women want.

  2. To the Knight's dismay, the Hag wants him to marry her in return for saving his life and answering the riddle. The Knight attempts to get out of it by offering her money and everything he owns, but the Hag does not give up.

    The Queen and her court react in joy because they agree that what women want is to have complete control over their spouse.

  3. In return for saving the knights life and correctly answering the Knights riddle, the Old Hag wants the Knight to marry her. The Queen and the court are happy because they agree that having control of their spouse is what they want.

  4. The old women wants to be his wife. The court says that the answer was correct, but I think they wanted to see the man marry the women more.
